At the foot of St. Pietersberg, the selection, the Cuvee Saint Pierre, is made from the different wines. The current selection is made from the Pinot Noir grapes that are aged on the typical Limburg ground of flint, marl and loose. After several years of aging, including 1 year on authentic French oak, the grapes reach their peak of taste and aroma. Mass and bouteille a Chateaux Wijnandsrade.

The name Steenberg puts the soil conditions of the plot on the flanks of one of the most beautiful hills in South Limburg on the map. That bottom is covered with flint. Fromberg is the highest situated vineyard with slopes that are fully south-facing with an optimal angle of inclination. The mineral-rich loam mixed with holocene gravel on a limestone surface means that the grape roots have to work hard to absorb all minerals. Raarberg Vineyard is located at an altitude of 90 meters on the slope of the Raarberg in the hamlet of Raar, in Meerssen. Our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir canes are planted here, which are exceptionally suitable for making sparkling wine.
Wijngaard Raarberg brings the sparkling wine back to South Limburg and lets the whole of the Netherlands enjoy this fantastic Limburg wine from now on. The winery is located at 31 Alexander Battalaan in Maastricht. 3 ha

Vineyard De Apostelhoeve
The oldest and one of the largest vineyards in the Netherlands, Wijngaard de Apostelhoeve, is of course located in Maastricht. The Hulst family grows various grape varieties on the Louwberg and processes them into internationally awarded wines. The Dutch wine tradition dates back to Roman times, but was replaced by other agricultural activities. Until in 1970 the vines returned to the southern slopes of the Jeker valley in Maastricht. The Louwberg with its many loess, marl and pebble is an ideal location for a vineyard and a visit is more than worth it. 13 ha

Multiple distinguished wines are made on the southern slopes of Sint-Martens-Voeren near the village of Crindael. The only wine castle in Belgium shines in the municipality of Riemst. The marl layer present and the climate show strong similarities with Champagne and the Burgundy region. The wines are made by traditional method with a great awareness of ecological cohesion. Weeding and hoeing is still done in the traditional way.
